Really? on iPhone
On the App Store this app is Really? Focus. It is for the person holding the phone. You choose the apps. iOS shows a shield when you open one. One reply closes it. The other lets you in for a while, then the shield comes back.
- The shield never appears. On the iPhone, open Settings → Screen Time → Apps with Screen Time Access and allow Really?. Then open Really?, tap Change (or Pick apps), and choose the apps again. This needs a real iPhone.
- Change which apps are shielded. On the Really? tab, tap Change.
- Change the questions, tone, or how often it asks. Settings → Tone, Timing, or Escalation. Open an app in the list to edit its lines.
- Full Block. Settings → Full block. While it is on, the apps stay blocked until the next day. Turning it off still leaves them blocked until the next day. A written reason opens a 5-minute break, and the shield returns when that break ends.
- See the intro again. Settings → About → Replay intro.
- Your data. There is no account. Answers, reasons, and settings stay on the iPhone. Deleting Really? deletes them.
Starts on iPhone
Starts plays On your marks, Get set, then a random hold, and times how quickly you move.
- Reaction time. Keep the phone in your hand or a pocket. The first time you tap Begin, allow Motion & Fitness. If you deny it, that start uses a stopwatch instead. You can allow it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness.
- On the ground. In Settings → Session → Phone, choose On the ground. Tap Stop when you finish. That records a sprint time, not a reaction.
- Everything is included. Reps, every voice and Go sound, movement sensitivity, full history, analytics and CSV export are free. There is no purchase.
- Your data. There is no account. Sessions and settings stay on the iPhone. Deleting Starts deletes them.
Mac apps
Stayawake, ShutOff, and PhraseDeck use the same address. PhraseDeck's access to Apple Notes can be revoked in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation.
